    • Nurturing of leaders with disabilities
  3. Agriculture (Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America)
    • Improvements to the food-security chain, from smallholder farmers to pre-market logistics
    • Education of agricultural extension workers and agricultural researchers
  4. Nikkei Communities (Worldwide)
    • Higher education for promising young Nikkei scholars
    • Enhancement of the social standing of Nikkei individuals and institutions
  5. Japanese Studies (Worldwide)
    • Lectureship posts and fellowships for people studying Japan and the Japanese language
    • Donation of books on Japan to libraries around the world
  6. Peacebuilding (Asia)
    • Development of Asian peace practitioners
    • Direct support for dialogue among actors involved in conflicts
  7. Primary Education (Asia)
    • School construction that promotes community development
    • Cooperation with national governments in the development of curricula and teacher training
  8. Human Resource Development (Asia)
    • Scholarship and fellowship programs that develop capacity in our priority fields
    • International networking in developing fields or regions
