Asian Women Social Entrepreneurs Network ConferenceLaunched in 2014, Asian Women Social Entrepreneurs Network to Hold First International Event
The Asian Women Social Entrepreneurs Network Conference, a project supported by the Nippon Foundation, will be held in the Thai capital of Bangkok from Wednesday, May 20, to Friday, May 22, 2015.
The conference will bring together approximately 20 women social entrepreneurs from the Mekong region (Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam) who are engaged in handicraft businesses, for the sharing of information regarding issues facing women social entrepreneurs in the region, capacity building, and networking.

Program
The conference will provide an opportunity for women social entrepreneurs active in the Mekong region to exchange information and develop partnerships, building on the 2014 launch of the Asian Women Social Entrepreneurs Network.

- May 20 (Wednesday): Sharing of participants’ experiences and insights
- May 21 (Thursday): Sessions for studying business strategies and strengthening businesses, led by key persons in the fields of public relations, marketing, and social investment
- May 22 (Friday): Discussions for the sub-events to be held from June in countries throughout the Mekong region
